Original Chicken Road from INOUT progresses through crossing stages. Each successful step creates a new available return, while continuing exposes the active round to another step. Accepting cash-out settles the round instead of attempting that step.
Crossing Stages and Round Outcomes
Chicken Road from INOUT uses a step-by-step crossing format. The player starts a round, advances the chicken through stages and can take the currently available cash-out instead of attempting the next stage. A successful step advances the displayed return; a failed step ends the active round. The original Chicken Road should not be confused with every later game carrying Chicken Road in its title.
The key distinction is between reaching a multiplier and settling it. If a screen offers 2x after a successful step, that amount is available under the round rules, but continuing exposes the active round to the next step’s outcome. Cash-out closes the decision. Watching a crossing animation does not mean the player can physically dodge a randomly determined obstacle with reflexes.
